The air washer is switched off by pressing the On/off button on the upper side. In doing so, the output
level is automatically set to level 0 (standby).
Regularly check the water level gauge during operation and refill the tub if necessary. If all the water in the
tub has evaporated, the air washer will automatically switch itself off.
Note
The actual humidification output depends on the ambient conditions and the air contact with the
humidification discs. In principle, the lower the relative air humidity, the higher the humidification,
and the greater the damp contact surface with the air, the higher the humidification. This means
that the humidification increases as the tub empties and the sinking water level allows a greater
contact surface.
The LCD illumination reduces 5 seconds after a button has been pressed. The reduced display
illumination enables the device to be operated at night in the bedroom.
Use fan level 1 to operate the device during the night.
7. Cleaning and storage
WARNING
Unplug the device each time before cleaning.
Clean the device using only the methods specified. Under no circumstances may liquid enter the
fan unit.
Do not use any solvent-based cleaning products.
Use only the cleaning solution from the manufacturer.
Rinsing the tub
Rinse out the tub every 2 weeks with clean water. If the air is heavily polluted, the device is used intensively
or the water quality is poor, the air washer must be cleaned at shorter intervals. If necessary, remove any
deposits in the tub using a plastic brush.
Regular cleaning is a prerequisite for hygienic and fault-free operation.
The air washer can be dismantled easily and without tools for cleaning.
Always empty and thoroughly clean the air washer if the device contains water and has not been operated
for longer than 3 days.
Cleaning the fan unit
You can wipe the fan unit with a damp cloth. However, make sure that no liquid enters the fan unit.
Cleaning the humidification discs, upper cover and tub
You can wipe the humidification discs, upper cover and tub with a damp cloth and can also clean them
thoroughly and easily in the dishwasher.
To do so, disconnect the fan unit from the upper cover by sliding the
4 locks to the outside and removing the fan unit.
Important: When putting the fan unit down, ensure that it does not
come to rest on the fill level sensor.
Lift off the upper cover, remove the humidification discs from the tub and place the parts in the dishwasher.
Pull the protective cap off the fill level sensor and place this in the cutlery basket. If there is insufficient space
in the dishwasher, create extra space by removing the cutlery basket, for example. The humidification discs,
upper cover and tub must not be bent or jammed when being placed in the dishwasher.
Set the dishwasher to a gentle cycle (for cleaning glass). The cycle must not exceed a temperature of 45 °C
– otherwise the humidification disks may deform.
Descaling the humidification discs and tub
Observe the information on the label of the “LW110 Antical” cleaning solution.
Note: A light build-up of limescale on the humidification discs increases the evaporation effect.
