TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND BATTERIES
HR monitor Waterproof to 30 m (suitable for swimming)
The impermeability of the monitor to
moisture cannot be guaranteed if you
jump into water (high pressure load)
and also if the buttons are pressed in
the rain. The pulse cannot be measu-
red under water.
Chest strap Waterproof, suitable for swimming (but pulse
measurement under water is not possible)
Battery HR monitor 3V lithium battery, type CR2032 (Recommen-
dation: Energizer batteries).
The service life is approx 11 months if the
monitor with pulse display is used for 1 hour
daily. In addition, activated functions such as
e.g. acoustic alarm or activated LED display
could reduce the service life of the battery by
half.
Battery chest strap 3V lithium battery, type CR2032
Service life: approx 28 months
Replacing the batteries
You can change the batteries of the HR monitor and the chest strap
yourself. Please read how to change the battery in your HR monitor
in Chapter “Getting started”, Section “Insert battery/Change battery”.
The battery compartment of the chest strap is on the inside of the
chest strap. Use a coin or the battery to open the compartment. The
positive pole (+) of the battery inserted must face upwards. Carefully
close the battery compartment again.
