Comparison of measured values with laboratory values

Performance characteristics: Accuracy and precision.

Whole blood glucose test results were compared with the YSI 2300 laboratory instrument.

Foraconcentration<75mg/dL,≥95%laywithin+/-15mg/dL,whileforaglucoseconcentration

≥ 75 mg/dL, ≥ 95% lay within 20% of the reference values. The CV (variation coecient) is < 5 %.

The blood glucose monitoring system is therefore comparable with a laboratory system.

Warranty

We oer a 3-year product warranty against material and production faults.

The warranty does not cover:

Damage due to improper operation

•

Wearing parts

•

Deﬁciencies already known to the customer upon purchase

•

Cases of personal negligence on the part of the customer

•

Outside interference

The warranty does not aect the customer’s statutory rights. To assert a warranty claim within the

warranty period, the customer must provide proof of purchase. The warranty claim must be submit-

ted within a period of 3 years from the date of purchase to BEURER GmbH, Söﬂinger Straße 218,

D-89077 Ulm (Germany). In the event of a warranty claim, the customer reserves the right to have the

goods repaired at our own workshop or at a workshop authorised by us. No further rights are granted

to the customer (on the basis of the warranty).
