Results to be expected
At room temperature, the measurement results for 95% of all control solution tests should
lie within the results range printed on the test strip container.
Warning
The results range printed on the test strip container applies only for the control solution.
This is not a recommended value for your blood sugar content.
If measurement results are outside the specified range, check the following possible cau-
ses:
Cause Remedy
The first drop of control solution was not
disposed of.
The tip of the bottle was not wiped cle-
an.
The bottle was not shaken vigourously
enough.
Eliminate the cause and repeat the test.
The control solution or the test strip has
expired or is contaminated.
Repeat the test using a new bottle of control
solution / a new test strip.
The control solution, test strip or measur-
ing device is too warm or too cold.
Allow the measuring device, test strips and
control solution to reach room temperature
(+20°C to +25°C) and repeat the test.
Test strip is damaged. Repeat the test using a new test strip
Test strip is out of date.
Open a new container of test strips.
Repeat the test.
There is a problem with the measuring
device.
Please contact customer service.
Warning
If you repeatedly obtain measurement results with the control solution which are outside
of the specified range, refrain from using the system to determine your blood sugar
content. Please contact customer service.
